John & Kate {Journeyman Distillery} Three Oaks, Michigan
Kate was a general manager at a bar in Chicago, where a repeat customer insisted she let them set her up on a blind date. Kate went crazy as they pressed, and eventually John himself waltz right in and asked her to go on "run" sometime. This first date "run" eventually lead to a night of fun, street festivals, and love!
After six years of dating, Kate was convinced that John and her were never going to get married. In fact, he went on a whole "anti-marriage" kick nearly a month before he proposed. But all that didn't matter one night on Paw Paw lake, where he insisted that, even after an entire day on the lake, he wanted to take the boat out. Kate, on the other hand, just wanted to relax and chill.
In the middle of a lake, swaying to her favorite Pearl Jam song and dressed down to a sweatshirt and sweatpants, she felt a hand on her waist and turned to see John down on one knee! He said the sweetest thing and of course she said yes! Talk about relationship goals!
Their wedding day was absolutely beautiful! The tiny details really helped pull everything together into an unforgetable experience for both guests and the bride and groom
We couldn't be more happy that John and Kate let us capture this special day for them. We absolutely adore being able to capture weddings for couples. It is such an important and special part of someone's life, and we feel amazing knowing that they trust us to capture it! We wish John and Kate nothing but the best in the rest of their forever!
