Nick + Jessie {Maternity Love} Chicago, Illinois

We first met Nick and Jessie back in 2015. They were tying the knot here in South Bend, and we were the lucky photographers they picked to photograph their wedding! Which is always incredibly humbling!

It turned out to be the perfect day, as they said “I Do”, surrounded by their amazing friends and family … and it’s one of those weddings that we will ALWAYS remember! We not only had a blast, but we made some life long friends along the way. :) And if you’d like to check out their big day, we blogged about it … RIGHT HERE!

So fast forward a few years … September, 2018 … we were super stoked to learn that a little Fenton would be running around very soon, so it was a privilege when they contacted us about doing a maternity session! We jumped at the chance to adventure to a cute little neighborhood in Chicago, where this beautiful couple calls home! They’re not only sweet, kind, and SUPER good looking, but they’re also incredibly successful in the “Windy City”! But they’re the most modest people you’ll ever meet, so you won’t hear that from them … so we just have to give them a shoutout on all their hard work!!! You go girl … and boy. ;)

Ok, ok … back to that beautiful morning in September … we first ventured to the Gethsemane Garden Center, where we found the prettiest flowers and plants, and where we laughed … a lot! These two have such genuine joy; it’s contagious! And their sweet love … it’s something to strive for, and these two exude so much love for each other!

After our hilarious venture at the greenhouse, we went back to their beautiful little home, where we met their sweet pup, Kosar! And had even more laughs! And … we got to see their beautiful space where they’ve made their home, a HOME. Many of the things you see in their amazing space, Nick made! He’s quite the talented woodworking artist!

There is no mistake about it … these two are going to be the BEST parents and we are so darn thankful our paths crossed in 2015. We’ve shared in some amazing moments with them over the years, and we can’t wait for what the future holds. Congratulations beautiful souls. We adore you so much!
