Elopements and intimate weddings are our absolute favorite. Elopements used to mean running to the courthouse or going to Vegas to get hitched on a whim. But it’s 2020 ya’ll, and times have changed! Now, eloping can mean planning out a ceremony at one of your favorite parks or traveling to your favorite state with your love and marrying them in a forest or on top of a mountain! And did you know that in some states, like Oregon and Colorado, you don't even need an officiant?!

For Laurel & Jason, they have always wanted to elope and decided Lake Michigan was the perfect place! It was just the two of them with their officiant, declaring their sweet love with the trees listening in. After saying their vows, we explored around on top of the dunes. These two are so sweet and I am so thankful I was able to capture their sweet day!
