Mackenzie and Steven are two high school sweethearts who were married at Bread & Chocolate in Goshen, IN!

Bread & Chocolate has to be one of our absolute favorite wedding venues in the Goshen area! I mean how much are we loving that name?! The venue itself sits on the third floor of the historic Old Bag Factory (we snapped a shot from outside so you’ll get an idea!) and it’s a lofty yet romantic space with ultra modern vibes. the perfect spot for Mackenzie and Steven to say I do.

Steven put a lot of thought into when and where he would pop the question, and you are going to the love the sentiment behind it. Mackenzie and Steven had been planning to move to Maryland and were there on a trip before their big move. Steven took Mackenzie out to dinner at an old school house turned hip restaurant and popped the question then! He wanted to ask Mackenzie to marry him while they were in Maryland so that when they finally made the official move, it already felt like home to them! How thoughtful is that?!

When it came time for their wedding day Mackenzie and Steven decided to have a first look with one another in their space at Bread & Chocolate before meeting down the aisle for the official ‘I dos’. Mackenzie confided in us that she had talked Steven into doing a first look because she didn’t think she could go the whole day before seeing him. We captured all the reactions from their first look, including plenty of smiles and Steven twirling Mackenzie around in her fairytale gown.

After they made it official, we took the bride and groom, along with their bridal party, outdoors where a fresh blanket of crisp white snow awaited us. Mackenzie wore a short fur jacket over her bridal gown to keep warm, and her bridesmaids all wore cozy white chenille scarves with tassels. Steven and his groomsmen all looked dapper as they strolled down Chicago Avenue.
