This sweet family of three enjoyed a family photo session at Silver Beach in Michigan!!

Jessica, Skyler, and little Aspen were the lucky winners of a gifted family photo session from a contest that we held over the holidays!

Our original plan for this family shoot in Southwest Michigan was to take the family over to the historic carousels at Silver Beach to grab some shots. Sadly, the carousels were closed over the winter, so we decided to head for the beach instead! This sweet family braved the frigid frigid temperatures to walk in the sand and play on the shore to create some amazing memories together.

Little Aspen had so much fun running around in the sand. He played with his mom and dad on the beach, and he was full of nothing but smiles and laughter! He was absolutely smothered in all the love for the entire day.

After we all braved the freezing temperatures of wintertime at Silver Beach, we decided it was time to warm up, and what better way than with some hot chocolate?! A trip to the South Bend Chocolate Cafe, in downtown St. Joseph, Michigan was in order! We cozied up inside the small cafe while the family warmed up with hot chocolate (whipped cream included) and a few whipped cream topped noses ensured! It was the absolute perfect way to finish off their family session!
